PJ Harvey. You either love her or hate her really. I loved her first album "Dry" and think she's gone a bit downhill since. Some of her later music is pretty cool but I just don't think any she's done since has matched up to the sheer, sultry moodiness of "Dry."

I'm going to choose the opening track, "Oh My Lover" as today's song of the day! Absolutely beautiful. Powerful, moody night-time music, with great lyrics. Tip: this is really good shagging music! In fact the whole album is because it's perfect mood music. Next time you're having someone over for an intimate candle-light dinner, trying putting this album on softly in the background. You will not be sorry, mark my words.
