Agree with Stiff Little Fingers, saw them in 1979 after hearing them on John Peel. Bit too young for the Clash, but rate them very highly. Saw the Jam loads of times and were life changing for me as a 14 year old going to see them wearing my scouts trousers ( narrowest ones I had!!!)
HAPPY DAYS

Sex pistols, the clash, the ramones, The jam and finally... the stranglers.

Obviously I wasn't around when they were, but I grew up with my dad listening to them all throughout my childhood.

How could I forget the Buzzcocks, fantastic power pop, great 3 minutes songs. Loved the Damned as well, 'neat, neat, neat' and 'new rose'.
