Hey what an idea, I don't think I've ever even thought about what music to play like this..... yet I LOVE music........but I can think back to some that have been playing whilst I've been in the company of someone special. A Roxy music track in particular but I don't remember what it's called, David Bowie's Low was always nice background music....... hmm need to reflect on this thread a while.

Think this is a rather excellent thread that deserves reviving.

1. Band of horses - no one's gonna love you
2. Florence and the machine - cosmic love
3. Jimi hendrix - the wind cries mary
4. Bob dylan - times they are a-changing
5. The libertines - music when the lights go out
6. White stripes - we are gonna be friends
7. Ramones - danny says
8. Adam green - bluebirds
9. Willie nelson - i recall a gypsy woman
10. Dusty springfield - say a little prayer.

There are so many more, maybe i'll do another list soon.

I loved the single that was out around the time they won the Mercury, but I feel that their winning that was a little undeserved. I thought the album was a little too samey the whole way through. Their winning the Mercury music prize certainly did boost sales though, I bought their album because of it.

that and the fact that my music is all stored alpha-numericly so it was just easier to do them a-z. Laughing
