Ok who remembers Radio 1's OUR TUNE presented by Simon Bates?
The most sadest of storys followed by their appropriate ( Tune ) Song of memories.
Well have you got an " OUR TUNE"? If so what is it? and is there a story behind it?

Sheesh Trace OUR TUNE takes me back a bit Now mine a toss up between Queens 7 seas of Rye and a certain young lady who i'm not going to say anything about or the Manhattan Transfer hit Chasson de Mour in about 1977! and that brings back the most horrible memories. Now i would say my tunes are Cliff's travellin light or the venerable status quo's version of the wanderer!

And i've got a head start!!!!! I was living in Singapore when Radios Caroline and Luxembourg were in their heyday but i used to listen to the American forces network broadcasting from Vietnam! I also had the job of putting the wreck of the radio caroline vessel on navigational charts when she sank! Isnt radio bland these days? i get my kicks listenin to jono colman or a local radio station called Vibe FM Cool Stuff

Another oldie here that remembers Our Tune, DLT and the rest (anyone remeber Gary Davies' bit in the middle? Ooooh Gray Davies, lol)

Anyhow, back on topic:
My current Our Tune is James Blunt's Goodbye My Lover. When I was in the US in January it was on a lot and came on as my gf was driving me to the airport. We both sobbed *sniff* *sniff*

Hoping to go back over soon. (But that damn song kills me still!)
