Home >> Music >> Naked Eyes + Climie Fisher
23.04.2007, 12:39 quote
I like both these groups. They featured a keyboard player called Rob Fisher, who died in 1999.
Naked Eyes had a particularly excellent rendition of "Always Something There To Remind Me" which was also covered by Sandie Shaw in the 60s. When I hear this song, it makes me think of my ex in a positive way.
And Climie Fisher came about when Rob Fisher hooked up with a singer named Simon Climie. He actually penned the song "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" which was made into a #1 duet with George Michael and Aretha Franklin. However, they didn't really have any significent hits after "Love Changes Everything" and "Rise To The Occasion."
Pedro is saddened by the lack of grace in the pop music world these days.

I like Climie Fisher. I'm glad someone else here knows them. Love Changes everything is one of my fave songs. I relate ALOT to it. It has to be the best song that didn't get to number 1 ever (it did in fact get to number 2).
If I'm ever get a rcord contact I'll make Love Changes everything my debut single.
