there are loads of type of metal out there, not all of it is screaming / shouting suff.
some are really 'melodic' not a million miles away from smooth r&b

I have a mix of different types of music from the verve to DJ tiesto but I have to the best sound in music is Hardcore dance that includes such great DJ's such as Angerfist, neophyte to name a couple the sound itself in my view is a cross between metal an dance an for me you can't beat it.

Huge spectrum of music. It's all good. Well, mostly.

Have to say I prefer darker music like industrial, ebm and "gothic" stuff.{HIM,Combichrist, Dope Stars Inc., Marilyn Manson)
However, it totally depends on the context. If i'm out in the clubs, it has to be dance and remixes or something with a heavy beat.
If I'm having a girly moment, bring on Britney, Shania Twain and Girls Aloud.
Cheesy 80s makes me happy, as does classical metal =)

Rnb and hiphop are the things that I wouldn't normally listen to(with the exception of in a club!)

I believe that you cannot make the claim that "music is my life" unless you truly appreciate (not necessarily enjoy) all the genres. Artists put so much work in, whether they produce pop songs or screamo.

My taste in music goes from Dolly Parton to Rammstein.
It depends on who im with and what im doing.
If im out clubbing and dance music is playing then so be it, if im in a certain mood then i often change the "type" of music im playing.

I dont particulary like Rap and death metal but if its on and/or the person im with likes it then i can cope Very Happy

As most of you already figured out: I am a weirdo regarding my music taste but I enjoy myself utterly and don't care...

I've got the same thing going on in my head...
My taste of music tends to diversify to the people im with, so i end up liking all kinds of music.
