I'm a sucker for vinyl too... Ebay is good. Luckily for all us Pearl Jam fans they still release everything on vinyl so it's easy to get off play etc.
In general still old school and buy stuff, but usually online rather than in shops (too busy & town is impossible on a weekend). If it's to checka band out before I buy I either download or check them out on myspace.
