Just had some great news, one of my younger brothers is taking me to see megadeth at rockcity in nottingham in a couple of weeks, can't wait. I've also seen therapy, american head charge and system of a down, plus loads of bands that play in the top room of the angel, that I'd never heard of before or since, the best of those were goatboy

I have seen Tina Turner in '86 (showing my age there) Knebworth in '90 (I think).... where I saw so many great bands....Tears For Fears, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Genesis, Mark Knopfler, Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Cliff Richard, The Shadows and Status Quo. And my most memorable one which was Eminem at Milton Keynes Bowl

I was at Within Temptation's gig at the Barrowlands (Glasgow) in November. I can say with total honesty it was the best night of my life.

I've got a ticket for Nightwish at the ABC1 in March, and before that Nemesea at Barfly - although with the latter something's come up and I might not be able to go. Confused

best gig ever was Queen at Wembley, have been to reading festival 7 or 8 times, metallica at donnington were excellent but crap when they played reading. The last two love pistol re-unions were also well worth it. Have seen Doctor and the medics, transvision vamp, iron maiden, motorhead, meatloaf, nick cave and the bad seeds, green day, terrorvision and numerous other groups, pub bands and cover bands. Best cover band was borjn again simply cant get enough abba!

Too many, but heres a roundup of recent activity; Dillinger escape plan, Poison the well, Torche, Mastodon, Arcade fire, Radiohead, Interpol, Deftones, Metallica, Boris, Dizzee Rascal

And of course I've been to Reading festival ten times on the trot; so thats another couple to add to the list. All time highlights being The Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Chemical Brothers, Rage against the machine, Jurassic 5 and Pearl Jam, and Fear Factory back in the day.

I know its a bit scenester but I'd love to check out MGMT, they're a bit funky.
