MCs ruin it, for me. I prefer a more melodic intrumental track.

Agreed, i used to dj at uni, and mc's although they do a good job getting the crowd goin, used to annoy me, and ruin my sets!! I suppose if u have a good relationship with an mc, ie: bukem and conrad then cool, but u cant just have a dj and an mc without having that as they will try and out do each other. I wanted people to get into the groove of my tunes and my mixing without the intervention of mc's! Very Happy

they do in some cases, but i remember a night out in brighton i had with a mate of mine a couple of year back, we were at this club on the seafront called the beach. it just so happened that the ragga twins were live on stage that night and they did a fuckin blinding set, everyone loved it. but then, they are old skool and they know how to move a crowd. twas a mad night out that was and i wanna go see them again sometime Very Happy

I'm a bit out of touch with D&B these days but Roni Size's and Goldie's first albums where shit hot and still are. Into a bit of LTJ Bukem too...who should I be looking out for these days? not that into the hard stuff, like it a bit jazzy or spacey? Ive heard a bit of London Electricity and High Contrast which sounds good.
