It would have to be the 80s - early 90s. Most of the music out nowadays is a load of shite. Fall Out Boy is a good example of how not to be a band. It seems like the worlds lost it's creativity and art, i mean look at Marilyns Mansons masterpiece Holy Wood, and compare it to what's on shelfs now! You can't. Nobody puts any thought into their albums and themes anymore, it's sad

It's money, and if the RIAA can make some bucks on a shite album, well sorry, it's going online.
Complain to them if you like, and while you're there, tell them to drop my Subponea

for me it's got to be the 90's. best period for indie guitar bands, especially with the whole brit pop era. after that it would be selected areas of say late 70's and mid 60's
02.06.2006, 05:20 quote
Well for me it was the late 80's of the stone roses and happy mondays to the mid nineties with oasis blur exellant period of music which i grew up listening to but over all the best decade without daubt was the 60's!!!!!

I listen to internet radio quite a lot due to the poor reception in this part of the world. www.007audio.com plays non stop 80s music without irritating people chatting all the time and spoiling the mood. It is one of my favourites, as well as Ministry of Sound Radio.
