Hi and welcome..Yes i am definately into breakbeat...my hobby is Dj'ing with the stuff and recording mix cds..love the music although i never get to the clubs to enter the 'scene' so to speak..lol
Evil nine at the moment are hot..

Agree, evil nine are doing good things at the mo and are on everyones playlist. Not a huge breakbeat fan but will throw in the odd goodie into a set.

mainly tech house with a bit of funky chucked in. I liked crystal method - born to slow....good tune.

Kev! The doors Roadhouse Blues is a favorite of mine! I havn't heard the mix you are talking about! How the hell can i expand my musical tastes by getting hold of some of the stuff you guys are talking about!

good way to hear cool breaks tunes is to buy the 'y4k' series (distintive breaks label)..any hmv or virgin store have them..

If its Breaks you like you should try and get to the glade festival next year. They have all the top artists and DJ's in this field ripping the tents up!
