I can't stand having to listen to cheesy "wedding disco" music at my work. I mean, how many more times do we have to hear Come On Eileen and Build Me Up Buttercup? So overrated.

*shudders* Come on Eileen..I can't even listen to that song.

But there's nothing wrong with build me up buttercup! It's one of those songs that just makes me smile.

Any of the rubbish that today is labelled "R'n'B". Craig David is the worst of the lot.

It really annoys me that this tripe has taken on that label. Old rhythm and blues is quality music, and nothing like the manufactured guano that gets churned out these days.

Anyhoo, anyone noticed how we're all talking like our parents? "I hate this modern music - give me Jerry and the Pacemakers any day", "They've murdered this song - the original was much better", and I could go on....

agree!

I do sound like my parents when it comes to music. But they have pretty good music tastes so it's ok!

I hate most of todays music. Rolling Eyes

Oh god yeah, it's like if I go upstairs on a bus, guaranteed there'll be some chavs at the back playing this evil dirge of happy hardcore/techno crap loudly on their ipods/mp3 players/phones/whatever. Evil or Very Mad I definitely need to get an ipod for journeys now.

Yeah, you're right there on the old school hip hop. I liked Public Enemy, Run DMC and De La Soul.

exactly! this stuff was innovative, what the likes of 50cent do today has been done for over 10 years now, all you see in videos is bling booty and b*llshit, its boring and its very conformist.
