Hold on a sec
Females over 30 or females in general
Please it’s the females we choose to date that’s the problem
About 1 years ago my brother started teasing me about all my ex’s being psycho’s we laughed and laughed about it. but a couple of weeks later I started thinking about it
Questions I asked myself
Is it normal to get an egg for Valentines Day and a single screw driver for Xmas?
Is it normal for your girlfriend to tell you that she wants a quite night in and her dads coming over to give her a bath?
Is it normal for your girlfriend to break up with you because you want a pillow?
Is it normal to be kicked in a very personal area for talking to your best mate?
I decided nope its not normal so why are the females im going out with all have some strange connection in doing abnormal behaviour, well I figure it’s the type of female I tend to attract or the type I think of as my type of female
Its funny but once I figured out what was happening I am more able to see each step that takes me down this strange path

Oh bollix, I hope it's not the case with me. I don't want to see again the likes of the mad ones I've experienced!!

But yea, true or not, I think I am worried that only the mad ones are left. There are a lot of people with screws loose, and lots more with all sorts of hangups and baggage etc, fair enough, I appreciate that.

But if I'm really honest, I do worry a bit. I'm living in a rural area where everybody marries very young. (sometimes their cousins,.. naa, just kidding)

Most people with any ambition or get-up-and-go leave and study/ get careers in Belfast, Derry, Dublin or London etc.

Those that remain are either in a family business, married, or got pregnant when teenagers (not trying to run them down), dropped out of school, are on the dole or just people who do feck all with their lives for one reason or the other.

Those who are single appear to be best left single, and there are more than a fair share of divorcees, who also have their own problems.

Now bearing in mind that "you never know who you might fall for" etc and that we all have our own cross to bear,.... it's not exactly rich pickings.

Well if I ever meet the 3 of you that are not mad I will feel reassured. (just kidding)

I am pretty happy that I have managed to survive life so far "relatively unscathed", can be a little self-concious sometimes and cynical,... but that's healthy!!

Sorry, but I had to chuckle when I read your post! Did these things really happen to you?
I too am notorious for picking absolute psychopaths as girlfriends, and it's a bit of a running joke with me and my friends.
Thing is, it's horrible while it's happening, but looking back on it, it's a hoot!
At least you have had a colourful past......

It also reminded me about the xmas present my friend received from her grandad last year. It comprised:

One birthday card (blank)
One candle (used)
One shoebox containing chicken bones....

Yeah, I thought that. And the used candle too. I dunno, she says he hates her and is going senile too. She really hasn't got a clue what it's all about.

Baggage is easy to carry if you've got a good enough handle on it.

Very well said. For all the wisdom of my years, I couldn't have put it better.
