From experience I can guarantee that if I had the largest duvet in the world that money could buy, that at some point in the relationship I would wake up on a cold night barely grasping the far edge of said duvet, while she would be wrapped up toasty warm like...

what's the answer?......electric underblanket on her side only ... Wink

Obviously I am far too generous!! In my previous 2 relationships the guys hogged it and in this one, my fellah fidgets so damned much it goes bloody everywhere!! Laughing I wake-up in the morning to find a bundle at my side (after much searching he's to be found in there somewhere) and my feet somehow tangled up at the bottom. When I sleep on my own, the only indication that the bed has been slept in in the morning is a corner turned over when I get out.

maybe some cleverclogs needs to invent a way of keeping the duvet equally divided so we can finally put this argument to bed (oops sorry about the pun!), I'm sure that some genius could dream up something if he slept on it a bit (oops again!), cos at the end of the day we're all 'quilt'y of 'cover'ting our neighbours ass....or something like that....

i love my awful puns.....

anyways...'when i was a kid' time, I remember crisp sheets and blankets tucked in, and maybe an eiderdown on top if really cold. Hot water bottles that were too hot to touch. Windows running with condensation until we got modern double-glazing.

And my usual remedy to duvet stealing is just to steal it back, wrap it around me and leave her enough to cover the essentials Wink

I remember bloomin awful nylon sheets. The only good thing about them was if you had on nylon PJ's, they sparked off the sheets in the dark!! Great fun

Im going to go a bit bizzare here - how about 2 sets of bed sheets, on 2 seperate beds - when you want a cuddle at night then the beds can be together and its all nice, then when its time to sleep you can move the beds apart - perhaps by radio control? and sleep in seperate beds. Move them back in the morning for a morning cuddle - good nights sleep, cuddles, and a duvet each! brilliant
