That's a tough question Elitious and most likely different for each person.

For me its the feeling of being able to give, to make someone else feel warm, happy, comfortable. To be there when the going gets tough, but also to have that back. I want someone there for me when the going gets tough, 'cos lets face it, if you get through the tough stuff on your own when you have a partner, you might as well be single.

Everyone needs love........ that feeling that someone adores you and would do anything for you, and you would do the same in return...that feeling that you wouldnt be able to breath if you never saw them again.
The butterflys in your stomach when you hear them knock on your door.

And like red said, having someone to lean on when times are hard, knowing there is always someone who cares.

but isn't like a drug that induce our minds and leave us craving for more. as with anything supplies just ends and we search and search util the hope dies. so if that is destined and there is not eternal love, then why we want to have it. and this brings us to square one, why we need love? . if we just end up lost.

I think it's to satisfy a basic instinct Elitious. We need to feel needed, wanted and want to give that in return.

ok, what will u do if some one tell u to cut ur hand, will u do it.? Embarassed

No, because the inevitable pain isn't worth it, but humans are an optimistic species on the whole and each time we fall in love we hope it's the last time.

the point was if some one tell u to cut ur hand u know its gona hurt u wouldn't do it, it is exactly the same if u fall in love its gona hurt so why we do it? i know there possibilities are equally likely. so why do it ?
well you know if you eat lots of cake it'll prob make you fat...
you dont expect to fall in love it just happens, you hope you will and when you do, its fantastic. but each time you do, you dont expect it to hurt..
where as cake, you think oh i'll just have a little bit and cos its so nice you have more, then prob end up overeating, etc..

i have cake on the brain so this prob doesnt make sense

u can always stop urself either is cake or love. if can stop it and we don't like drugs we just go deeper and deeper until we are so lost that we even forget who we are
yes you can, but why would you wanna stop, when it is so good, thats like stopping yourself from having a orgasm

the quote sounds really nice, but wait till u lose some one, then u think ... why the hell i loved in the first place... u knew the person will do that but still u was too blinded Rolling Eyes

I was in a relationship where the ending was the kind of painful ending I wouldn't wish on anyone, but I'd do it all again to go through the good times we had Very Happy In my opinion, it was definitely worth it

so correct me wrong if i am wrong we are willing to be in pain, for some good times which never actually last?
being whiped hurts, would you say no?.. what about when you have toothache, do you go to the dentist right away or do you leave it and see if it goes away..
we all go thru pain, some on a daily basis, its part of life
