When you are single you don't get a shag.

Your chances of getting a shag dramatically improve when actually interacting with another person.

This is only my opinion, does anyone agree?

Yeah, obviously, but is it worth all the rest of the time you hang out with them for, if you dont really gel. I had great love with my last girl, the best I ever had, but still...

Only if you interact with another person.

If you are single with nobody else around then no you will not have a shag, no matter how hard you try.

Never bothered me being single and have at times gone 2 or 3 years being single. Wasn't until I hit my thirties and realised my life is passing me by and I have nothing apart from my flat to show for it that I have started to worry. My sister and brother have been in long term relationships and have kids, I have done neither. My last relationship of 6 months finished in April and since then (apart from a one week get back with the ex in August!)I have been single and hating it.
I would love to have kids as I adore them, but at this rate they will be pushing me around in my wheelchair!

Anyway, that's my feeling sorry for myself rant over!

excuse the digression, but in your profile, you listed your appearance as "Caribbean" and you're black! all blacks are African. Go correct that and i'll be obliged to answer your question

Worked many times in the "Caribbean" Trinidad for instance has a 60% Indian population....spots not feathers....courtesy of the Empire I guess and it's colonial exploitation... number of black Mac's there..Scottish ministers with Bibles in one hand and cawks in the other I suspect...aye..we did hypocrisy best of all...

If I'm ruthlessly honest then for me at the moment I am best off being single. I can't contemplate being in a relationship and I'm struggling to even care about my friends. I would really like to know why. I don't think I'm a bad person but something odd has happened and I feel very cold. Confused

Sometimes you have to think about just yourself for a bit. Doesn't mean you are a bad person.

You could try turning the thermostat up?

Right let's clear this up once and for all.

Should the title have been this:-

Is it better to be single?
Is it better to be single with the odd fling?
Is it better to be in a relationship?

You can't clear this up once and for all.

Everyone is different and they have different wants and needs.

None of the options have precedence over the other.
