You keep your girlfriend and ignore her ex!

You haven't really provided much information but my advice would be to seriously re-consider a marriage where you feel provoked enough to fight.

Going to prison should be a sufficient wake-up call to alert you that something is wrong. Consider your own anger and what you can do about it.

Talk to your girlfriend about the situation and if you can't come up with a sensible, peaceful way to deal with this ex-boyfriend between the pair of you then getting married may not be the wisest option.

I dont mean to sound rude but why would someone who is planning on getting married join a dating website ......... Confused

Hum. Politegorilla raises some good points here (as does funkychick!).

It isn't healthy fighting over anyone, does the ex think he still has a chance or something?

I'm all for being an honourable guy (at least I like to think I would be) but going to prison for ANY reason isn't good, I'd have a hard think about your reasons for wanting to marry this woman- are you trying to beat this ex by marrying her first?

This is too heavy for a Monday!

Sounds like a train wreck to me, if shes not givibng her ex a clear message to stay away cos shes with u then question her committment to you.
