I done the exact same thing last night except over MSN rather than txt. Although i got a responce from her, it wasn't quite the one i was looking for.

I waited over a month to tell her how i felt about her and only wished i'd done it sooner. Even though i never got the response i wanted i feel so much better for it.

Agree with what some peeps have said, maybe he never got the txt or that he doesn't know how to respond.

One thing though, don't regret doing telling him, his loss in the end if he doesn't reply.

If they've had to travel then it could be construed as a cunt's trick. But they would at least be able to salvage some dignity and have the opportunity to vent if it would make them feel any better.

The same applies to declaring your feelings for someone. It doesn't get any cheaper or gutless than doing it behind the veil of a phone line or monitor. If somebody declared their undying love by saying 'i luv u 4 eva' I can guarantee you it would not be reciprocated. True emotions shouldn't come under the same banner as the rest of the social trivia we seem addicted to. If it was then why leave the house? We could all have virtual relationships and the real world (and REAL social interaction) need never concern us ever again.

Sadly, I've come to the conclusion that's exactly why a lot of people like being on this site!

I don't like making 'relationships' from here. There's nothing worse than messaging people, texting and emailing. More often than not messages get interpreted wrongly and the other person takes the hump. I would much rather meet someone face to face, ok it doesn't happen very often but there you go.
I like being on here for the friendship side and am under no illusion now that anything else would happen.

I was dumped by text once, told not to contact him again cause he wouldn't reply And by email, although that wasn't a relationship per say he just couldn't be arsed and told me so!! That one was quite funny actually cause he could be a bit up his own arse at times!
