A Person Who Asks A Question Is A Fool For Five Minutes, A Person Who Doesn't Is A Fool Forever ...

A very good quote. I wish I was brave enough to at least ask!!!

I hate to go all 'technical', but did it occur to anyone that perhaps he didn't get the text? It is not unknown for texts to go astray, the same way that emails do. Sometimes we assume that because we hit the 'send' button that the person we've sent a text or email to will receive it. IMO if you really, really want to know something or contact someone, then phone them - that way you know where you stand for sure.

I agree Stu, texts are so impersonal. If you know the guy, then i would have just called him, but then not all guys are man enough to be honest when your actually talking to them ........................ Very Happy

Yeh, I don't do the text thing at all anymore, too open to misinterpretation. Come to think of it, emails are too sometimes. Better to deal with some things on the phone.

Funny enough that happened to me only this morning, someone phoned me and wanted to come over tonight and see me. I said no, and when she asked why not, I just told her I didn’t fancy her, and wasn’t particularly bothered one way or another whether I saw her. I suppose it was a bit blunt, but there you go....you can't have it boths ways, can you?

Yeh, I've had enough. My November resolution was to just be blunt and say no, or I'm not interested, or whatever. Which is why I don't spend much time here anymore Smile (Well, and the fact that I don't have the time, the house is full of boxes waiting to be packed so I can move next week - at last!)
