What is your opinions on people having sex behind their partners back ? Is it something that is getting more and more common ? Does it help people to be happier in their relationships to have discreet sex with someone other than their partner ?

Any form of cheating is wrong, IMO.

I wouldn't like someone to cheat on me, and if I cheated on someone I claimed to love/ like then I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror in the mornings.

As long as their partners know, and don't mind, I don't see the problem.

I do also agree with the other guy: Cheating is wrong. But it's up to the partner of the cheater to dump the person cheating. More fool them if they don't.

It would take a lot to able to forgive someone for cheating.
If they do, Id think it would be very difficult to get things back to the way they were (any trust in the relationship will probably be shattered for a start).

I wouldn't be able to forgive - I have never forgiven a cheater.

I wouldn't expect to be forgiven, either. Cheating does shatter trust.

i agree with that . But there are a lot of married people out there looking for discreet adult fun as they call it and that simply means they need more sex than is at home ! So do they just live unhappy or go out and find it to keep their relationships together at home ?

Some people would stay unhappy, others would go out and find the 'extra sex'.

In my opinion, if the person in question really values sex more than the relationship, then they should end the relationship immediately - its not fair on the person being cheated on to have their partner sleeping around behind their back.

If the relationship is what is really more important, then they should try everything they can to make things work
