Choochio - I was in a relationship like that. I told him I loved him on the odd occasion, mainly when he asked me, but I did at the time truly believe it was true, though i was aware it wasnt "in love"...we;d been friends a while and kind of drifted into a relationship. I was with him for 5 years, he dumped me to get married to his 'friend' and apart from the initial shock and hurt and anger, after literally a few days I was thinking "thank God for that, why did I wait all this time and why did i wait for him to leave me?" Once i was out of it, i realised i didnt even LIKE him very much, but we'd gotten into this thang where we spent each weekend together and it was really boring!
Like i said, when i was with him i suppose it was a kind of 'love' -- or not?

The last few years I realised it was more lust than love with my wife. With her been so shallow and Satan's daughter, the end was nigh.
