you don't sound insecure to me, you sound sane and wise, on this issue..actually open relationships are for the insecure, people with confidence about themselves find it reprehensible to share their "partners" and loved ones, as I previously stated one would no more share beloved children than wife/husband/partners, generally one party is fed up with partner and wants more love but scared to leave the other will go along with any crap it seems, in short it's the lifestyle of creeps, if it were any other way they would not skulk around concealing their odious pastimes. even perverts have people who defend them, fools for freedom you might say, but mostly just fools in their own right.
