My 2 cents:

"Before you can find the one, you must first find yourself."

Sounds rediculous at first, but only when we truly know what we want, will we find that person who truly fulfills and satisfies us from a relationship point perspective.

Which leads me to say:

"There is a difference between what people think they want and what would truly fulfill them."

Now you can blow all this off as crap, or you can take a moment to think what those 2 statements really mean, and I guarantee that once you understand your own interpretations of these points, you will be one step closer to finding "The One" as many people put it!

I agree with the first quote. you cant find something you want when your lost in the middle of nowhere...you understand what i am saying. you cant find the one, as they say, if you dont know who you are.

I would completley agree with that one as I can tell you from what I know that what you see as your destiny may not actuley be true.
Infact I helped to save myself from the pain of the truth by covering it up with a lot of self denial.

This was also true for my partner at the time,we both wanted something so badly and something that could take us away from the gloom of what we currently had that we just threw ourselves into a releationship.

However things like that are always going to end and now at least I have time to build up again and find out what I really DO want.
