I have no problems talking to guys that have shown an interest in me while i'm in a pub/bar/wherever, but as soon as I mention the fact that I'm 19, they don't want to know.
Is it just me andmy age or is it that guys have bad views of other people that are under 20 or 21?

Guys only ever seem to be interested in a one night stand with me, or a couple of dates, not an actual relationship.

Any ideas on why this is?!

Based on your profile and previous posts here (which is all I have to go on), you seem to be a "mature" 19 so I can't see why people would see your age being a problem.

From the hypothetical viewpoint, I would have no problem with dating (in the proper sense of the word) a 19 year old that was a mature and responsible person.

Don't worry too much about it Laura - it's their loss

i think they just want one night stands cus hey pigs... but no offence but they might see younger people as old enough for the love bit, but not mature enough for the relationship

They don't have a problem until I say i'm 19..that's the thing that puzzles me. Sad

I like to think i'm a mature person, maybe these guys don't see that?

Yep...but I have done the whole one night stands thing...i'm over it now. Confused

I guess that could be the problem....old enough for love, not mature enough for a relationship. Confused

To be honest, its a question no one can answer,
Similar questions have been asked on here often since I've been on here by men and women. Also over the years I have seen people rush into marriages with people not really suitable for then because of problems they have had meeting people, which is not good.
But you're probably right, older men maybe do want just one night stands with you at the moment, which is unfortunate for you. But its puzzling why men 3-4 years older then you think that way.

Seems harder now then when I was young though, a lot more complicated...so I wish you luck.
We all have to wait and see what tomorrow brings Smile

try telling them you are 21 then..see if that helps...anyway, being 19 just go and have some fun..relationships can wait..enjoy your youth while you still can..its not all fun being older.

I have had my 'fun'...and it's getting boring now.

And lying isn't good.

Even if lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off...

(hmm...lol, just listened to that song!)
