Love - Warm affection; attachment; liking, or fondness; paternal benevolance; affectionate devotion. Love is (though)... chemistry.

Hmmm... my other view is that you really can't put a fruit pastel in your mouth without chewing it. I tried it 100 times and all I got were these rotten teeth. Love that, missy. Nah, thankfully my pearlies are whiter than Daz ultra.

Science View -
Biological models of sex tend to see it as a mammalian drive, just like hunger or thirst. Psychology sees love as more of a social and cultural phenomenon. There are probably elements of truth in both views — certainly love is influenced by hormones (such as oxytocin) and pheromones, and how people think and behave in love is influenced by one’s conceptions of love. Hence, from time immemorial, science, from naturalistic poetry to MRI neurochemistry, has since debated over the nature of love.
'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'

imo it depends how desperate you are for it. true love usualy comes when you least expect it and in my experience is a real feeling.

It's an emotion and as such is very real indeed.
That doesn't change the fact that all our emotions are based on chemical reactions, so there is very little mystical about it. If requited, it's a very, very positive emotion. If unrequited, it's very nasty.

I think like anything else its more of a doing word than anything else. If you find someone or something that you tell yourself you are passionate about, and stand behind that passion for a while, it soon becomes a consuming passion a white heat of desire, your mind creates and recreates thoughts of the same kind until it becomes the dominant thought in your mind and leads you to a point where you must have it, its a spiritual thing, well at least I think anyway. So yes I believe its a mind thing just as any perception, ideal or anything that you entertain in your mind, its real, very real, but only as real as you choose it to be, i think thats the most important part of it... Actually I think the foundation of any real thing starts in the mind as a thought, its just a matter of bieng conscious of it...

Love is much more than either a feeling or a mind set. Love is a way of life. Showing in all your everyday actions. Wanting to do as much as you can and more to make that special someone as happy as you are.

That is what I thought too only to be told by that certain somone that all the things that I was doing to make her feel good were in fact to make me feel good about myself.
What a head f..k that was.
Guess what? She was binned. Ungrateful or what?
