Don't get worries and responsibilities confused. I would say with the higher risk of STD's among the gay community there would actually be more worries.

How are there fewer or more worries/responsibilities? ffs!! They're not a different species. Gays still have homes to run, bills to pay, jobs to hold down, children to bring up! Oh my god! Yes, they procreate. It is allowed you know. They don't all adopt so-called orphans from dubious backgrounds. I am truly aghast. I kind of expect that kind of niavety from youngsters (yeah, sorry Zoops)but ffs u4ric. You give the impression of being so wordly-wise Rolling Eyes

No seriously, its true. Take clubbing for example. In straight clubs you will find it mostly a young crowd but in gay clubs they are full of old people because they have less responsibilities. Trust me, I spent 4 years living every aspect of the gay scene, I know what i'm talking about.

Quite right Red.
Lots of people do even adopt - of any sexual orientation - I know of a gay couple (both men) who are raising a little girl as their own (in America, and their daughter is peruvian) - I think they'd be not so chuffed to think someone thought they had it easy just because they don't have a wife! Razz
Maybe u4ric didnt mean it in that way?

Maybe you find *young straight* people clubbing because they've not settled down yet and gotten 'responsibilities' yet?
And maybe the older gay people go to gay clubs because they've been there, done that, bought the t-shirt and are now ready to party?
As you point out the gay clubs are full of older gay people....maybe the younger gay people are busy with their responsibilities, just like the rest of us?
Maybe the younger gay people arent yet so comfortable with who they are *in our society*, not ready to be seen in a gay club? Whereas the older you get, no matter your sexual preference, the less you give a shite what others think.
To suggest gay people have less responsibilities in life seems rather insulting to them to be honest.

And I have a gay brother with 2 children, who has a very active social life. I know what I'm talking about too.

Well if you read my post again I did say "generally speaking" as in not all.

Also gay clubs have both young and old people where as straight clubs generally just have young people in them.

I have also clearly stated that what I talk about is from my own personal experience and that is I have probably slept with more men than most of the girls on this forum put together. Also more often than not I actually prefer the company of gay men than straight, i'm what's known as a fag stag

Don't worry about it Zoops As has been said, we all have different opinions, and in this instance, different insights/experiences too.

Debate is a good thing.
