Apart from the full on Lesbians, I would imagine that some are bi-curious and some encouraged by their boyfriends to engage in FFM.

No you misread what I said. Its not that its easier, its just easy. In fact the gay community find it easier then most straight people to find love/relationships in real life.

Fair play to them, I respect that, is it because they are a minority and feel more comfortable with their partners?

I believe it to be down to two things.

Firstly, generally speaking gay people have far less responsibilities than straight people and so can take risks more.

Secondly, the open and free gay community hasn't been around for that long. Homosexuality has only been legal for about 40 years so the old ways of promiscuity among gay couples still exist. This is my view though and may be considered controversial.

I understand, and i guess there are fewer worries when it comes to gay relationships.

But wouldn't they list them selves as bisexual rather than lesbian?

Don't get worries and responsibilities confused. I would say with the higher risk of STD's among the gay community there would actually be more worries.

I see, but the fact that there is a higher risk of n STD, is that not more off putting, than wanting to be gay?

Ok I think I see the problem here. Do you believe that homosexuality is a choice and not the way people are born?

Honestly i do see it as a choice, but i know there will be no point in arguing the subject as no one can truly answer that question.

No, I didn't ask to start an argument, it just explains some of your questions. I wondered why you had a hard time understanding what I was saying.

Ok I guess you understand now.. And it's like I said before everyone's different so I don't have a thing against gays in case you think I do.

This is a good point...BUT...they may only be looking for females and not wanting to be contacted by men.

Correct.

A man suggesting FFM may be shocked if it turns too MMF and rather disappointed.

At one site I've seen a lot of women listing themselves as bisexual explicitly stated that they were only seeking contact from women. This only proved fustrating to me when the site tended to include them in weekly lists intended to be of people whom would be perfect for me!

In my view women are just as entitled to be lesbians as they are not to be attracted to 42-year-old intellectual, knuckle-dragging blokes!

I was actually thinking more about the poor lesbian who replies to the advert to another lesbian only to find a man in her bed when they got home.

Don't worry about it Zoops. You're not the first guy on here to be surprised at the number of lesbians that use flirtbox and not all of them use the sister site (no pun intended)..

I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but I wouldn't say you were particularly niave or anti-lesbian either.

My profile states man/woman and friends only, but I still get approached by the occasional lesbian/bi lady. It's the nature of the site we're all on.
