Now I have not a single thing against any girl who is a lesbian, but out of most of the girls profiles I have seen on this website it would seem that a large amount are infact lesbians. It has quite shocked me by the exact amount I have seen, I was just wondering could someone explain why there are so many.

Is it, that it is hard to find lesbians in normal day to day life and online would be the best option to go about it, cause i wouldn't begin to know how to get guys if i was gay or is it the fact that there are many women in the world today, who aren't satisfied by men?

I'd also like to know if anyone else has been shocked at the amount they have seen.

I am just about the most naive person you will ever meet on the internet, I've had my eyes open after a very sheltered life, believe me!
It's not stupid, its quite refreshing to learn that there are still people in the world (other than me!) who weren't born knowing it all and being blase about life.

Actually having extensive experience with the gay community, in general they find internet dating and cruising easier and more socially acceptable. That may be the main reason.
