I get annoyrd at the idea of guys coming on dating sites and senting horrible messages to women, it only makes it harder for the genuine guys such as myself. I'm really curious though and would like to see one of the crude messages you get so will someone please send me one as weird as that sounds.

I think some kind of rating system (like an ebay seller rating) would sort the problem out.

I'd consider myself a gentleman as do many other on here. I'm pretty sure we are not noticed as much because the majority of guys (and girls) on these sites are cheap people who just here for love etc. Also they usually are the ones who are full of themselves so will post much more, so they will have more coverage across the site. A true gentleman wouldn't rant or boast so much on a forum or message every girl he see's on here.

It's always good to know there are gentlemen around and they can still be found on free dating sites like this, and the same goes for women, many are also wanting to give and receive love, friendship and all the positive aspects of a relationship beyond 'only love'.

I don't agree that the people who post on the forums and have a presence, are as full of themselves as the gentleman above suggests.

There are some lovely gentlemen posting on here, and for some it has been a difficult thing to do. Some see the forums as a useful stepping stone, to test the waters, so to speak. If you read more posts you will see that, some users are shy, lack confidence are confused or have quiet natures, all sorts....... but still they're reavealing a lot of their personal selves in trying to deal with issues that can make dating and relationships difficult to establish. Not only that, we tend to forget on here that there are many people who read the forums but never participate openly... just look at the numbers that view some topics against those who actually post.

I think it's true to say that there are many people who gain support, knowledge, and entertainment from viewing the threads. It happens because people are sharing of themselves and reflecting on topical issues or sharing a joke or two for others to join in.
Some threads are more serious and allow for people to gain support and confidence to explore ideas and possibilities or develop a greater understanding about life from the experiences of others.
It's true that you can raise your profile by posting here but that's a good thing if you want to be finding a date, isn't it?

I am having a bad time looking for a right woman for me. I think deep down most guys want exactly the same as you do, its a minority that only want one thing just as a minority of women are the same. I pretty much want a nice genuine woman but apparently thats as hard to find for most men also . I will stop because im babbling.
