heya, just started positing on here so hello,

anyways, i think and indeed know there are decent guys out there, me being one of them...i mean dont let the monk costume fool you i am a very serious person. but to be honest, i think, from past experience, most women complain about men when they have been treated bdly, but they ALWAYS go for these bad types, as if the "rebellious" phase of school-college still sticks in their personality.

anyways just answering a SOS yes there are decent blokes out there, and i hope you ladies find him, if not, give me a message

also i cat promise you the world, riches or a fancy car, but i can promise you a entertaining evening of laughter and disney movies

(was only joking about the disney.....kind of)

There you have it. You can't get a more decent man than a monk. Welcome to FB by the way!

Hey, there's loadsa decent people around. I think many people aren't too sure how to approach others on the internet. I always go with a flirty joke to get the ladies attention. Some find it funny and some think i'm a wally. But at the end of the day, I'd always treat whoever I go out with like a true lady. Nothing less.

IMHO and my friends say they feel the same way, we don't want a doormat or a bad boy. We can open doors and pull out chairs, but it's nice to have it done for you, makes you feel a bit special. As for paying for the meal, one friend always asks "shall we go Dutch?", then leaves it up to him. At least she doesn't find herself paying for it all as a nasty surprise!
"nice boys", don't pretend to be "bad", it comes over as phoney and sooner or later you slip back to type. Just be yourself. One day you'll meet someone who wants that. Got a great friend who moaned about being too nice, girlfriends all became friends. He's now very happy, married and expecting first child. She adores him, so be true to yourself.
My friends all look for honesty and GSOH, make a girl laugh and the rest is easy Very Happy Listen to her, basically its about respect and manners. Maybe that is what being a gentleman is about these days, not covering puddles and picking up hankies (yuk)
Bad boys are not fun, they are waiting for the phone that doesn't ring and seeing him with someone else Sad
Yes it's about balance, but please, don't tell that to the bad boys or they'll just pretend to be "nicer" and us poor girlies will never find the real ones!!

Although I wouldn't class myself as a completely true gentleman, I do tend to hold doors open for folk and have extremely good manners.
