I can categorically state that I have been in love with a man and not fancied him at all.

This situation caused problems because he both loved and fancied me.

Ohh I can see loving someone you dont fancy (like as a mate) but how can u be in love with someone you dont fancy ?

i think platonic love is possible i love my best mates terri and dan to bits but i dont fancy either of them i agree with cheeky you can love but not be IN love with someone you dont fancy.

You can love someone you don't fancy or I did well still do even though we have now split up someone I didn't fancy. We met through a friend ended up spending a couple of nights sat up talking all night and then on the 2nd ir 3rd night of talking all night when I got up to leave and go to lectures I had this urge to kiss him and did even though I didn't fancy him. I think it was the fact that we could talk all night and obviosuly had a conection that made me do this and in the end we had a 3 3/4 year relationship

I defo think you can love someone you dont fancy. Personality counts for a lot and if you like someone enough you see through there looks. Initially I
guess we all go for looks especially on sites like this I did with Aradon. I'm soo lucky he's got it all looks and a fab personality I love everything about him
