It's obviously all down to personal tastes and what-not, but I've honestly never found myself being either instantly attracted to, or falling for a bigger woman.
Rightly or wrongly I tend to equate a persons size to their level of health and lifestyle. In my experience (and that's all anyone can really go on) my larger friends (male and female) tend to get out less, exercise less and eat less healthily than those that try to stay more in shape. You can't fight your genes, but I always try to keep myself looking my best and tend to hold other people to the same standards.

I'd love to just 'not care' what others look like, as I'd probably find someone a lot quicker, but the attraction has to be there!

It all comes back around to get me though; for every profile I'll dismiss for my personal reasons, 2 others seem to dismiss mine because I'm a short-arse!! Sad

Bugger-all I can do about that though!

As a species (unless you have a large girl fetish) we have an evolutionary impetus towards finding fit (with regards to child birthing) women more desireable. If a person is obese then looking unhealthy will make most mates pass you over if going on looks alone because our instincts tell us that they won't be able to pass on our genes as effieciently. There are vaying degrees of course, and not everyone judges this the same, but generally fat=unattractive physically.

I have to say that this is complete and utter bollocks. If it were true in no cultures would larger women be found attractive. In various cultures all over the world, both modern and throughout history, there has been a tendancy for larger women to be found attractive.
It's modern cultural conditioning that shapes what we find attractive in a person, and even that can vary from person to person.

You are equating correlation with causation.

And it is bollocks for you to do so. Smile

There ARE some cultures (not as many in the modern world) who find larger women attractive, but very few of them have ever found BBW/fat/obese women attractive.

The evolutionary impetus is separate from the cultural effects on our sexuality, but like it or not looks are important and in todays society being fat brings with it connotations of being lazier, less healthy, and not as sexy.

Now it has been shown that girls that are too skinny don't possess the traits to assist them in looking as though they would be potential mates to pass on the allele to future generations either. But that doesn't make them fat.

Just because it sounds like bollocks intially and intuitively doesn't make it so.

Smile
