To answer the question...No I havent.
I am waiting for someone to sweep me off my feet, to be with, to enjoy life with, to make me go weak at the knees every time we see each other, to rely upon, to trust, to know everything there is to know about each other, to accept each others faults and love each other nonetheless, to respect, to be able to tell each other anything and not worry about the consequences, to know when to leave space and when to get close, when to throw arms around each other and say everything will be OK.
Sure I have had feelings for people, but no-one has made me feel that way.
Am I expecting too much?

I think I experience true love most of the time. I think the key to that is loving everyone unconditionaly and not dividing your heart between people. Even people I haven't met, I love.
Is there a special place for someone in my heart? Yes, it awaits. I think a love and memories shared between two people are what draw you closer to each other. Having had my heart wounded in the past I have learnt that it can't be broken if you still love that person when they have left, and that in order to get over the loss of physical closeness you have to have the right idea about it before you enter into such a contract.
Don't turn your back on your old lover, just take a step backwards this time and keep the channel open so you can go back to loving the person as you did in the first place, before you even met them.

TRUE lOVE DOES EXIST.
I MET THE LADY THROUGH MATCHMAKER.COM

After two years she proposed to me and we married six months later.

The first two years were sheer bliss - nothing and nobody could have made us happier than we were together.

Then she was diagnosed with cancer and six months later she died in my arms.

And I still love her for what she gave me and for the way she carried me through her final illness.

And I miss her dreadfully

I am very much a man of science but ever since being in love I now believe it is possible to read some ones mind.

Well basically when I found the girl I love, we were able to read each others minds. I've never been able to do that with anyone else.
