If life was a game then we'd all play by the same set of rules. In reality, the rules for some people will always be different from the rules of others. Often, individual rulesets will be made (something that we refer commonly as our beliefs/preferences/morals.) think about it, would you play a game in which the rules werent uniform? The only uniform rule in this case would be "Everyone dies."

Oh rules which apply to everyone do exist... But most people don't know them... Laughing And if one doesn't know them that doesn't mean they don't exist.

I have every confidence you will Kizz. Having had long conversations with you over the last 8 months or so, and meeting you. You have a lot to offer the right man.

unfortunately some people use the words "i love you" far too freely, .. like it's some free pass to treat you like something the just stepped in and be able to get away with it. Rolling Eyes

I've experienced (in my mind/heart) true love once. Though nothing is ever 100% true I don't believe! I think that you can find it again, of course it won't be on the exact same level as before, nothing is ever the same, but I think you can find it all again in a different way, somethings might not be as good and others will be a lot better it all adds up to an exchange of herats and minds, when two click then this is potential for something fantastic. I look forward to finding that again...

women are always the first to pat each other on the back as say "you go girl" you know how it is, ...maybe women should try and look at it from the mans point of view for change and maybe their relationships would go a lot smoother and last a lot longer

Truth is... Women and men have always been after eachother's point of view. It's obvious we're different so... Yeah...

By some experiences though, true love is one (not one in a life time, just one as a feeling). And although it's experienced differently by the two sexes, it's the same thing.

And I don't think it necessarily comes to how a man sees/feels it and how a woman sees/feels it, but to two beings finding a single truth. They might be two women, two men, or a man and a woman, even a man and his dog (and no, I don't mean whatever sick thing we all just thought about by mistake)... Only true issue is that only a man and a woman can conceive. Otherwise, love is everywhere for you to touch and feel. And yeah, it's true love I'm speaking of.

Again... Concerning the relationship between two intimate partners, is different from other love relationships only by sex. Come to think of that... Interesting.

Anyhow, yet again... Nobody can give an universal definition of true love. Don't know why because (as I've said before) there seem to be definitions for everything else. Laughing

I hate talking about love. The fact that I cannot give it a universal definition and some rules and control it scares me deeply. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, i've had this discussion before. If someone truly loved you, they wouldnt treat you like crap. To use 'love' as an excuse is the fastest way for someone to be shown the door as far as i am concerned.
In love with the idea of being in control.....manipulation and a piss-take, but not real love eh?
Or have i just become more intolerant as i get older, not willing to put up with the crap in the name of love? I;d rather be on my own with a nice cup of coffee than go through the motions and accept someone else's crap just for 'love'. Sod that, I really have become a cynical, jaded cow. Bah humbug!
