Sorry to be picky RG, but there aren't many women of 55 who could concieve naturally.
True, but the point I was making was that if a woman of 55 (and there are many out there, just maybe not so many as younger age) who biologically is capable, *should* they be obliged to have a baby *just because* they have gotten into a new relationship and can?
Who decides where to draw the line, and how and why?
Or do we leave that decision to the couple themselves?

I dont think Tony was trying to say THEY should have children ......... i think this situation would be more for couples where one of them have no children and would maybe like a child of there own. like my boss she is 40 already has a 16 and 20 year old, she married her husband who is 12 years her junior who has no children and they are planing to next year. I would say i would consider it if i was in such a relationship ............ but i thank my lucky stars i am not .........
but never say never .........

| Never mind the fact that a child is always hard work, even when they've left home |
my mum had been diagnosed with ms over two years when she had kids and was just shy of five years when she had me
and i have been informed by her that, like 85% of women with ms, her ms symptoms almost completely disappeared and this effect lasted for about 3-5 years after birth.
so i suggest bex gets on with her baking

| When a couple have started a new relationship, Becky and myself have been discussing this.
If a new relationship is working and looking to the future, we believe they should have children together, if at a child bearing age. What do you think? Nevermind the practicing. |
Utter nonsense.
