ive been single now for a couple of years... and its kinda my choice i just wanted time to myself, get my independence back and sort out what i want in life...
but getting back in the dating game is hard.. cos i dunno what i want

Pfft. 10 years without a sniff. You're all amateurs. I think its starting to grow in.

I think another problem is that often, the older you get the more 'baggage' you acquire- what if you meet the 'right' person but they can't cope with your past?

If I got a girlfriend now, I would probably have to forfeit several of my closest friends and change some fundamental aspects of my life as well as lose some of my freedom.
I'd also have to seriously consider 'toning down' the number of girls I have slept with.
Never say never, but I don't think I'd be prepared to do that.

It's funny, since I have decided to be 'unavailable', I seem to have become a relationship magnet- I have had several girls ask me out, and even one marriage proposal.

had been single for 9 years....at times i was happy it was my decision but then Special occasions came and i missed that someone to be with

then found someone an one month later its back full circle...its now bordering depressive nearly all my friends are paired up and dating or married or engaged....i dont want miss right..no wait i do i want miss right but right now...and hurry the F up about it..

I hate being single....... abselutely hate it.
I want someone to love, it makes me happy to love someone and be loved back.
