Well, goths are sweaty and unclean, whereas emo's tend to keep on top of their personal hygiene. Goths also have long hair dyed black but look pretty scruffy, whereas emo's have hairstyles like a cross between.... Victoria Beckham and Sonic the Hedgehog. Then there's the dress sense which is totally different. Goths just wear anything black, emo's wear things like, black skin tight jeans, black skintight shirts, and a pink bowtie.

I used to be a goth, and I shower twice daily, and always have done.
Goths don't just wear black.
