Anyone heard of Gay pride festival? its on round where i live saturday!

Well violet, i go tta say it ,your gaydar on the blick????What do you think gay people did before the "gay villages" appeared?the best rules of attraction are the unwritten , kind, body launguage, is a good clue !!!Do you then , proceed to think , you can only pull in a "gay place? " Its what works for the individual , that is looking , to decide, there , choice of venue, but i personally , don;t have a preferrence , scene or no scene !!!

i went to blackpool for the first time last year, but didnt get chance to hit the gay clubs.. but am def gonna go back again

hmmm...well i live in CARDIFF it has 10 clubs listed as gay, but alot of you are right, lesbians are forming their own impenetrable groups and it is a shame because it lowers confidence and the whole point on going to a club is to socialise. now dont get me wrong but why are people socially paranoid?or worse..bitchy.
this year im joining a gay group controlled by the uni students and ill get to meet people. i think girls on the gay scene should have a more laid back and fun attitude.

i agree with everyone from newcastle on here that have said the newcastle scene is good, well it is its mint.

but also the hampshire scene isnt too bad, i was based in portsmouth for 4 years and i had a good enough time, theres only 3 gay bars. the old vic, marthas and hb's but there good enough. for a quiet drink go to the old vic, for a good night, hb's has cabaret and kareoke on practically every day and then marthas turns its upstairs into a nightclub its good.
