Hi I'm having the same prob in hamshire too and i cant get into london. I know a fab club in Hanley in staffordshire where i used to live, but i have been in basingstoke in hampshire since 2003 and haven't found one gay club or pub nearer than reading or london.

So the girl in hampshire who said she wants to meet other lesbians, well there is one here in basinstoke! where R U, i thought all the lesbians had fled to London Rolling Eyes Would help to start a group or coffee morn or something if you R nr, unfortunately i cant travel far as my car died in 2004 and i cant afford another one for a while yet, which makes it 10x harder to meet lesbians down here.

Im here in Romford in Essex and being a lesbian here aint much fun when the towns built for straight people!

I recently wrote to the council for a list of gay friendly places in the area and they didn't send a reply! Not surprising seen as they had no answer!

Living in the clacton area there's nothing around here ,no pubs or clubs.
The nearest gay pub is the fox and hound in great bently but it's very male dominated ,plus it's quiet small .
Colchester is like 15-20 miles in the other direction but i don't no of any places there either. Rolling Eyes
Meeting lesbians around here is near on impossible without internet access.

Well, I've moved around so much, 3 places in the U.K and 2 places in Spain! Evil or Very Mad
All the areas very little or even no lesbian scence! Crying or Very sad
Although, I've heard the scence is pretty good in my near by town of Birmingham, so, when I turn 18 I shall explore the scence there!
Also, I'm going to join other lesbian/bi dating sites that you have to pay for, to meet more lesbian/bi chicks!
However, I was very lucky to have my first serious Girlfriend when I was 16! (many happy memories! )
I live in a town where there a only a few lesbians/bi chicks or, they just keep themselves in the cloest for whatever reason!
I guess that the scence is pretty good, but there are also other ways of meeting girls, such as the internet, lesbian magazine ads etc!

I'm in Bristol, there are a couple of pubs/clubs, I have been once and felt uncomfortable, so I don't go no more.
I don't know any other lesbian/bi girls so I would have to go on my own, which I find slightly intimidating, this is why I joined sites like these, even if it is only to meet a friend that could hold my hand (so to speak) to go to a club.

Theres one club here called 'pink punters', i've been 4 times, and everytime you go you get hassled by straight guys who came to see if he could pull a lesbian, i was once dragged out into the carpark by 2 men and they started ripping my clothes off me, luckily 2 guards heard me screaming and my friends saw me getting pulled out by them so it was alright. so i've kinda gone off of 'the scene' because they can't exactly check someone's sexuality, even on the lesbian nights guys are alowed in! one night i'm going to go down to london and go to a real lesbian club, no guys! finally! lol

Well i live in Grimsby, i have lived there for 5 yrs, there is one place that you can go but again, seem to be clicky and sometimes abit unfriendly.

i haven't been out for age's, they seem to judge if you have a child, i am not Bi, just a lesbian with a kid.

i would love to come to Brighton, sounds the best place to be. Very Happy

I',m suprised no-one else has raised this point yet..... but does being on the scene increase your chances of pulling ??? I'm not on the scene so to speak, yet have never had trouble pulling in straight places, whats with the GAY scene , it is just another sad victim of stereo typying!!1 Yet i do find it nice when i go to brum with my freinds occasionally , but ironically never have i pulled, so in my view you either have the ability to pull in or out the scene , you got it or you don't , simple as that !!!!
