So I'm curious. Who really is a part of the "lesbian scene" with lack of a better way to put it. Cause at least in the hampshire area, from what I've seen, theres a severe lack of pride fest, lesbian clubs, and general "all lesbian parties'. How do you all get out there? (Or perhaps you dont?) And if you dont, isnt it about time someone started throwing some all lesbian parties or somthing? lol Thoughts?

i live in plymouth and the scene isnt that good, theres one gay club and i find its very clicky there. so i dont really do the scene, its a pity really.

There really dosent seem to be anything here in hampshire. It kind of bums me out, I wish I knew more lesbians in the area, but I've only been here about 7 months, and I've only met a few. If I did, I'd create lesbian get togethers or somthing, lol xx

unfortunatly if you want lesbain only then you have to go to london. i live in kent so i end up going to london most weekends! but to be honest lesbians are very hostile, they don't really seem to mingle! i love to chat to others but there aren't really a lot of lesbians out there who do or their girlfriends won't let them!!!

Brighton is definitely the best for meeting girls! It's the gay capital so it's great! I couldn't imagine living anywhere else that's so much fun. London is ok, but it's sucha big city... Seriously anyone out there who wants a few nights somewhere... come to brighton! x x x

Bournemouth isn't too bad a scene, again it's quite cliquey tho once you get used to it! But I find everyone pretty friendly, more so than to the other places I've been to. Just go out an explore!

I live in Gloucester and we have no scene, one gay night held on a Monday night nearest gay club Cheltenham

Thee place to be loads of bars and we have two good Gay clubs that is open until 4am

I live in Birmigham and am a regular in the Gay Village down here. Although it is predominantly for gay men there are two lesbian pubs, a couple of generally gay bars and clubs and two clubs open til the sun is literally coming up!! B'hams got a couple of hotels practically in the village too so you havent got to worry about stumbling about if your lucky enough to pull!! I'm happy to be the B'ham tour guide if anyone fancies a big B'ham night out!! Sam xx

Hi, in Ashford, kent, there are no gay clubs or pubs to go to, the nearest are half an hour away in Canterbury and Maidstone, and they aren;t great. I'm not really into the whole scene gay or straight one, however if there was somewhere nearer, I maybe more tempted.

Hi looking for somewhere non scene in Hastings is a nightmare, No one talks and trying to meet others is almost impossible.

There is only one place and it's not the best at that, all very clicky, they dont seem to like new faces either.

I am thinking of starting my own coffee mornings / afternoons for like minded ladies. :D
