Lately I have been feeling very alone. It's probably my circumstances, which I'm not complaining about, but they are "unique", for lack of a better word.
Can anyone relate? I am trying to start making friends in the gay community but am having such a rough time at it. Suggestions??? Here's my life in a nutshell...
I am a single (divorced for 13 yrs) mother of 3. My oldest lives with my ex-husband and the 2 younger ones are with me. My son is 13 and my daughter is 11yr old. My daughter has Cerebral Palsy (fairly minor) and is wheelchair bound. I have had breast cancer and now have soft tissue sarcoma in my hip and am having chemotherapy treatments at this time...and...I'm a lesbien who has just recently "come out" to a few people (mostly friends, no family).

Im afraid I cant offer a better solution than what you are already doing - getting online and trying to get to know new people. Your situation is far worse than mine but I sympathise wholeheartedly. Ive got Fibromyalgia - a form of rheumatism and at only 30 it isnt always so easy to keep up with my 'peers'. All I can say is that on the whole people are kind and understanding. Stick with it, Im sure there is someone out there for you. Best wishes, Haze.xxx

lovinglizzie,
If you want to chat, I would love to chat with you...
I am having major surgery next month on the 9th to correct damage to my sternum and I live with tuberous sclerosis (ok, I know I am a bit odd sounding) but I am a good listener and certainly do not mind helping someone through a good howl! I may be young... I am 27, but I have had a lot of life experience (through no fault of my own) and I can empythise a lot - I have not admitted a lot of my feelings to anyone either. Well, I am here if I can help...
Merri x
