because a lot of the time (not all of the time) its their man who wants to see two girls getting it on. The girl normally goes along with his request to keep him happy. Sad really

For me its because I am bi-curious and would love to experience another woman, but I want my partner involved all the way too. My man never once said anything about us having a 3sum, it was me that brought the subject up.

I have to say that I've had the same experience as Kelina. It was me who brought the idea up and was the driving force in a 3some with my (now ex-)boyfriend and a female friend (she was also keen, but he wasn't sure initially).

For me it's because I've only ever been attracted to a few men, so finding another man to take part was unlikely and it really didn't feature in my fantasies.

I don't think that it's possible to use stereotypes to figure out anyone's relationship. In my experience it has usually been the woman who encourage 3somes, and it seems to depend upon the women's tastes as to who the third person is. However, I am sure that there are many examples of the opposite of this as well.

Personally I have known more MMF than MFF 3somes, so I'm not sure that the initial statement is true. Might be interesting to research.

What's everyone else's experience of this? What have you found occurs most?
