Just had this emailed me - i'm assuming this took place recently but it was (allegedly) a true conversation:


Heathrow Approach: Speedbird 944, descent to 9000 feet
Speedbird 944: no reply
Heathrow Approach: Speedbird 9-4-4, descent to 9000 feet immediatly
Speedbird 944: still no reply
Heathrow Approach: Speedbird 944, you're just like my wife - you never bloody listen !

Speedbird 994: Maybe if you called her by the right name you'd get a better response... descending to 9000 feet, speedbird 9-9-4
