As we seems to have turned this into impressions...
It started a couple of hours ago on another site that has 'whispers' built into it. A man 'whispered' to me to talk, and seeing that he was local and looking for friendship I thought, yeah, that's what I want too, he looked pleasant enough from his profile. So we had some friendly exchange and he said he hadn't seen my pic, so I was impressed thinking that he'd been interested to talk anyway.
Then, my main pic got approved and he found the others that were on site and I got a 'message' telling me that he was not a horrible person but he knows he would not be attracted to me because I was not his type.
Nobody likes getting the rejection, but what really 'bugs' me is that he wasn't being honest about the friendship, or am I to believe that he actually cares what his friends look like?
I doubt it, he really wanted a girlfriend so why didn't he say that, 'cos I wouldn't have spent any time talking to him at all as he wasn't my type either, but for friendship looks don't matter. Anyway I just sent a polite reply, as I do, but pointing out what I've just told you, minus the bit about him not being my type.
So, from now on, I think it may take a bit longer for anyone to impress me, so I can make sure they deserve it first.

Sounds like you're well rid of him. He sounds like one of those types that really wants just a quick shag but doesnt want to say that because the ladies avoid it, it makes them more approchable if they say just friends, then tries it on

Aw Sue, you dont need 'friends' like him so sod him! And you're not my type either, but heck you are a wonderful friend!!!
I met a chap off another site, both agreed we were just wanting friendship, but within 10 mins of meeting he asked me what my take on ONS were, when i said well my profile said......No way Pedro, he gulped his pint down and said "nice to meet you, lets do it again soon" and i never heard from him since!!!
As this thread i think i just hijacked it, back on thread, maybe he expected me to turn up naked with a crate of beer under my arm?
