i sooo want to go on holidays this year but all of my mates are broke. dammit!!

i haven't been on a holiday abroad since my daughter was born, six years ago and now finally the kids are grown up enough to let me have a week away and no one has the money!

I've been to Disneyland Paris and Amsterdam this year. Used all my holidays so even if I could afford it, couldn't get the time off! But I'm looking forward to my flatmate going on hol and having the house to myself!

Ah Amsterdam..my favourite European Destination.
Saw the Space Shuttle take off in Flordia a few years back. That was cool.
Also got caught up in a Tornado (well not literally) in Texas a couple years back. That was very cool.

I love Portugal (Lisbon not the crappy south full of expats)
Quite like Brussels too, abit more than Paris

Plan on doing the far-East next. A trip along the trans-Siberian Railway is a must. Would love to visit Russia (I have an profound interest in Soviet Union history for some reason). I'm no communist tho!

Ultimate goal is to go on the Incca Trail in Peru tho and visit Brazil.

Alas it all costs money tho. Hopefully I can get a job that allows me to travel. (use my degree in International Conflict Analysis to visit war-torn regions).
