Hi all

I'm 30 and have 2 whole weeks off work soon and I am looking for a nice holiday, anyone get any recomendations on a nice place to go this time of year (never been out of the UK before so I have no clue lol)

You could try something totally crazy. Pack your bags, go to the airport early and wait for standbys (someone cancels and you get it really really cheap). Obviously you dont know where you'd end up and couldn't change your currency before hand.

I know a couple who did exactly that this summer and ended up in Egypt. They said it was a bad choice (45 degrees during the day) as they could have gone to Sweden (32 degree for that week)

IF you are looking for Sunshine and heat, then at this time of year your only cheap and not too distant optios are Canary Islands, North Africa (Morocco, Egypt etc..) Egypt is usually the cheapest, best value option at this time of year.
