It does look lovely - I'm jealous! The first time I was in Lanzarote, they were building the first property on Costa Teguise, so all the properties are less than 13 years old and they have really strict building standards. I've never seen, or heard of, anyone having dodgy accommodation, which wasn't my experience in Tenerife..ugh! Really hope you enjoy it. As mentioned it's very family-friendly, if you're looking for clubs etc Puerto del Carmen isn't too far away, but it had started to look a wee bit over-developed last time I was there, still good though!

Really hope you like it - I rarely go to the same place more than once, there's too big a world out there, but have a wee soft spot for Lanzarote. (Did I mention I was jealous?)
