I'm too far south for that. France or Holland is closer than Scotland. My last trip to Scotland was a very long coach trip from London, which took about 9-10hrs. My arse was numb and I was tired. I'm flying if I ever go up there again!

Depends what part of Scotland. If we were talking about Edinburgh then about the same as what it would cost you. Just getting to Glasgow is about £40, but I'd need my fare to the airport and the train from Glasgow to Edinburgh on top of that. It's not that much
I spent £40 just going on trains to the other side of England last weekend.

i know the flight may seem cheap, but then all the fare for trains and buses on top of that, and me prob getting lost and getting wrong connection or something lol

You can look into all of that to put your mind at rest before going, and look at it this way, it's an adventure. They (sorta anyway) speak English so help is always available. I had loads of fun last year trying to get help from Italians. I could tell a couple of stories about that. My was quite stressed about, which was funny because it was me sorting everything out, but I just found it an interesting challenge. it It's always good to do things you've not done before. It'll make you feel happier about travelling further or doing more complicated things if it ever takes your fancy.

I can't during the next 6 weeks or so. I've committed myself to doing about as much as I can afford to do at the moment. I might change my mind if my work situation changes, though. Right now, though, my current contract is up at the end of July and I dunno what's happening next. I'm waiting to hear whether I have a 9 month contract doing a better job at the moment
My fingers are firmly crossed.
