How about an FB 'camp' somewhere in July? Get your tents out! Bring some booze and music. Hope for good weather.

would not go camping in a tent but up for a holiday camp type, at least then you get al the home comforts in a caravan with on site entertainment

A music festival such as Glastonbury or Reading....or in other countries such as Sziget in Hungaria http://www.sziget.hu (a lot cheaper...even with the flight...almost the same line-ups), or Roskilde ....or Rock am Ring/Rock im Park (not cheap though) would also be a cool idea...the only problem is I might not be able to join you this year.

I'd be game, but can't see you getting too many other women willing to give up home comforts Wink

Well, there's plenty of places that have really good facilities, modern showers and bathroom blocks, shop and bar on site etc, and when i've gone camping before there's usually a mixed m/f group of us.
and get a decent mobile and u still have tinternet!

Its a great idea, but...

I hate to add buts, but a lot of campsites - and particually the ones with the best facilities are aimed towards young families and sort of dont like large groups partying all night (or even till 11!). However, depending on numbers some might set aside a field if there is a large enough group going so that noise might not be a problem.

I might of course be wrong here and have to find different camp sites to go to

I'm camping the last weekend June.

Had a quick google for 'party freindly campsite uk' and found this I'm sure there are loads more. Party in Newquay at night and learn to surf the next day anyone?

I have to say, my camping days are long over, but I would be up for a weekend at a holiday camp...hell yes.
Well when I am better that is lol
