A 17 year old boy Marco was on holiday in Turkey and met a 13 year old girl (Charlotte) he was flirting with (allegedly she pretended to be 15)....anyway...because he was flirting with her, he was now sent to prison in Turkey....

So if anyone from Turkey ever wonders, why they are not allowed to join the EU, this is one answer Rolling Eyes

Quite a weird country that jails school boys. They didn't even have love....neither has be raped her or anything.....

Even if they would have had love, in Germany for instance, the situation would be assessed by a psychologist in order to find out the matureness of the girl and whether there was a case of one of the two took advanatge of the other or whether both have about the same "age"....if they are assesed to be the "same" age, nothing would happen....and if the parents would face a charge as the parents are responsible for their children if they are underage.

In general such a situation is not comparable to a real "adult" (e.g over 30) raping an immature teenager......

If people read the papers, they will see that Marco, the 17-year old German boy, was imprisoned for sexual harassment agains a 13-year old English girl upon the complaint of that girl's parents in Turkey. Turkish laws, of course gives punishment to harassment to the children under 15. Best Regards..

It might have pissed the Turkish officials off that first thing after Marco's imprisonment the German chancellor Mrs Merkel thought it would be a good idea to more or less blackmail the Turkish Goverment in public to let the boy go. Not a very smart thing to do so Marco spend almost a year in a Turkish prison cell for that faux pas of German foreign affairs....
